Ibadan Emerged As The Economic Capital Of Africa, Olubadan

The Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun has reaffirmed his determination to make Ibadan the economic capital of Africa.
Responding to questions from a news hunt in his Ibadan Palace, the monarch was of the view that Ibadan will soon emerge as the economic capital of Africa, pointing out that innovations will be put in place to make this mission a reality.

The senator turned custodian of culture and tradition revealed his blueprint for the people of Ibadan, stating that he is fully determined to restore the lost glory of Ibadan through ideal policies that will improve the economy and also create the much needed platform for the city to be positioned on a higher pedestal.
The monarch pledged to involve all the critical stakeholders in Oyo state in his drive towards repositioning the status at Ibadan in the committee of nations; pointing out that associations, and eminent sons and daughters of Ibadan will be involved in the process.
Olubadan Pledged to also protect the interest of the people by liaising with the government at the federal and state level to explore new opportunities that will position the people for future development.
Oba Balogun expressed concern with the level of poverty in the land stating that he will use his connections to attract more foreign instruments into Ibadan, which will create job opportunities for the people and move further away from poverty.

The monarch hinted that he will continue to pursue the culture and tradition of the people and this will be resourceful to ensure that the tradition of the people does not go into extinction.
The entire people of Ibadan should cooperate with him in his drive toward ensuring that Ibadan emerges as the economic capital of Nigeria.
